We built the Nectar Network because
the health data access problem is solvable.

It just required a different approach.

Health data is everywhere. Access to it is not.

Pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and researchers spend billions trying to find the right patients for studies. The data they need is sitting right within EHRs across thousands of practices.

But practices hesitate to share it. The compliance risk, the IT burden, the liability — the answer is almost always no.

So trials miss enrollment. Studies use claims data instead of primary records. Research and innovation costs much more than it should.

We think that's a problem worth fixing.

We don’t move the data.

We move the query across a network of Data Owners.

Tamarin built a network where Data Analysts can query primary clinical data directly inside the Data Owner's environment.

The data never leaves.

The Data Owner stays in control.

The Data Analyst gets the result they need.

The result: compliant, precise, real-time data, without aggregation, without tokenization, without data use agreements that take months to negotiate.

Built by people who understand both sides

The Nectar Network was designed and built by a world class team of healthcare and cryptography leaders with experience from the world’s most recognizable brands

We understand health data sharing challenges and the technology to overcome those challenges.

Our Founder

Kat Kuzmeskas, MPH

From dashboards tracking student progress as a Teach For America corps member, to a clinical rounding dashboard used daily for nearly a decade at a community health center, to the strategic planning department at Yale New Haven Health, Kat has spent her career turning data into decisions.

She also knows what it feels like when the data you need is right there, yet completely out of reach.

She founded Tamarin to fix that.

The development of our breakthrough technology was generously funded by the National Science Foundation.

This recognition underscores both the novelty of our approach and the strength of our team.
